Vanilla Villa

This is where we live.  It is the house on the end.  It is the colour of vanilla wafer and inside there are even wafer patterns on the walls.  In fact most of the houses in the area look as if they have been built out of ice cream; either vanilla, strawberry or coffee.  Luckily they never melt.

  1. Catherine what can I say with all this talk about ice-cream other than it looks good enough to eat. I will forward the email to the choir group so they can follow too. You are my first blog as it were so I hope this works. Missing you but coping. God bless. Love Trish

  2. Hello Catherine
So you are already there in your ice cream heaven.
We are new to this method of communication and might just venture a picture or a piece of music within the next six months or so. How about a nice descant to sing in the bath? Peregrine may just go off this method of communicating to a choir!!
    Love Phil and Marian

PS How do I read your blog. Do I have to set up my own blog account?

  3. Hi catherine
Wow!! it looks so lovely. It just needs a great big cherry on the top.Very Victoria Stitch. Is she thinking of going to Dubai? William says that he is "speechless". Can we have pictures of the garden next and maybe one of you in the pool floating on a big blow up dolphin. (only joking). This is such a great way of keeping in touch. I'll send you some pics once I've worked out how to do it. (You may be in for a long wait though).
    Love Sam x

  4. Finally, it's 10.25pm and I've just worked out how to access your blog!!! I've driven Trish mad by asking how she managed and why couldn't I!!!. Choir went well tonight but, I must say it is not the same without you. You will be amused to know that it has been raing this evening and that the forecast for the next two days is rainy. I'm only jealous, I'd love to have a blue umbrella sky above my head. Have fun and post some more pics soon.
    Lots of love Simone x

  7. Hi Catherine
It looks good enough to eat, certainly!! I hope you're enjoying being there. We're all in sunny Booxton, but heading off to Corfu next Saturday - 40 degrees there today so I can't imagine how hot it must be in Dubai!
see you in the cooler season I hope.
    xxx
